AUTO BODY REPAIR-To add monitoring of a new dry chemical extinguishing system (protecting a new spray booth), connected to the existing building fire alarm system and upgrade the existing building alarm system with a manual pull, heat detector(substituted for smoke detector due to dusty environment) over the FAC panel, and upgrading batteries to provide a 60-hour back-up supply. The building permit (BLD 01-00951) is to install a piece of equipment manufactured by "Nova-Verta", referred to as a prep station booth with floor plenum mechanical exhaust system and Dry Chem Fire Suppression System. A "Letter of Completion / Compliance" is required for this project as evidence of code compliance & inspection approval before the area is allowed to be used for any purpose or use.
