NEXTEL CELL FACILITY@ AMERITEL INN - To add monitoring and releasing functions for a new pre-action sprinkler system in the new Nextel TI roof-top electrical room, including area smoke detection, manual pull and a/v annunciation, connected to the existing building fire alarm panel.The building permit (BLD 01-01885) is to construct a cellular communications facility on the roof of the existing motel. Work to include, construction of a 200 sq ft shelter next to the existing penthouse, this will include a 3 1/2" light weight concrete slab, construction of one-hour fire-resistive noncombustible walls, and roof, attachment of antennas to the existing penthouse, installation of batteries, generators and related electrical equipment for a telecommunications room. This room is to be fully fire sprinklered per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department.
