(CAPITAL CITY FAMILY MEDICINE) This building will be fire sprinklered to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistive construction. To modify the existing fire sprinkler system, for the remodel the first floor, within a 2 story (with basement) building, for the occupancy use of a medical office. This tenant space will occupy 7,535 ft/2 of the total 8,674 ft/2 area of the first floor. Fire sprinkler work is related to sprinkler upgrade throughout the entire facility and construction work under the building permit which includes a new 1-hr stair enclosure and existing stairway, 3 restrooms, interior nonbearing walls, an exterior canopy with masonry columns, 2 interior open stairways and suspended ceilings. Work also includes selective demolition. The entire building shall be fire fully operational and fully protected prior to occupancy. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, red-lined plans, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. A fire "Inspection Card" is required as a condition of this permit, to provide witness of compliance with the same. This permit is attached to BLD01-03156.
