WEST COAST PAPER * To modify an existing OH-2 fire sprinkler system, in a 20,890 ft/2 portion of an existing facility, overhead main additions and changes, removing and installing new overhead lines with new 286 degree heads, the installation of two hose stations, all to meet NFPA 13:7-3 (Palletized, Solid Piled, Bin Box, Shelves, above 12'-0"). This fire sprinkler upgrade does not approve storage to exceed 12'-0" without meeting other Fire Code issues and requirements of UFC Article 81, which are: curtain boards, building access, smoke/heat removal. The Fire Department will require a time table from the owner, acceptable to the Building and Fire Departments, providing a commitment. Approval of High-Piled storage is contingent upon receiving an acceptable and approved commitment. (Separate building permit will be required for this work from the Boise PDS Department). All fire sprinkler work shall comply with approved plans, the attached comment review list conditions, UFC-1997, NFPA 13-1999 and NFPA 72, as regulated by the Fire Chief.
