Empire Building, 5th floor - These plans cover modifications to an existing building fire alarm system, within 5 areas on the 5th floor, which are covered under separate building permits, therefore separate fire permits are required to be issued, corresponding to the building permit for each area. The modifications include additional duct detectors for release of new fire/smoke dampers, and a new 5th floor NAC panel to power the new a/v alarm notification devices being added. The existing building alarm system was approved under BLD99-03235 for the shell building. The associated building permits are BLD01-02631 for FIR02-00089; BLD02-00189 for FIR02-00107; BLD01-03024 for FIR02-00108; BLD01-03025 for FIR02-00109; and BLD01-3026 for FIR02-00111.
