HP BUILDING #8 - To upgrade the existing fire alarm system in the 3-story, building #8. Work includes relocating the existing FAC panel a few feet within the same room, adding additional area smoke detectors over alarm control panels and at elevators for release of elevator door hold-opens, adding manual pull stations, rewiring existing duct detectors on the roof for HVAC shutdown, and installing all new a/v alarm notification devices, powered from the existing FAC panel and from two new NAC power extender panels. The alarm system includes manual pull stations, sprinkler monitoring, elevator recall, monitoring of HVAC duct smoke detectors for air handler shut down, and a/v annunciation. There is no associated building permit.
