HP BLDG #7-DIGITAL PRESS TESTING - To add a duct smoke detector and additional a/v notification devices within the TI area, connected to the existing building fire alarm system.
The associated building permit (BLD 02-01300) is to remodel a 1,665 sq.ft. portion of an existing open office area to create four new rooms surrounded by full height walls to create a support mechanical room for three work / test rooms to be used to test new printer products manufactured by HP. The new test rooms are adjacent to DP Lab in the northeast corner of the 1st floor per approved plans on file. Work to include non-combustible framing with sheetrock covering; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler & alarm systems upgraded as needed for the project and to be in compliance with current adopted codes; a suspended ceiling grid system in the three test rooms; interior finishes & support items.
