(KPMG) This building is fire sprinklered under the provisions of the 1994 UCBC because it is too tall, too big, and has too many stories. To modify the existing fire sprinkler system for a 7,200-ft/2 office tenant space on the 6th floor of the Empire Building. This tenant will occupy the entire floor. Sprinkler work is associated with new interior nonbearing walls, and suspended ceilings. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD02-00259
