(HEWLETT PACKARD BLDG. #6-EAST) (Phase II Expansion and Tenant Improvement) To modify and add new sprinklers in a remodel for an additional 6,317-ft/2 within the existing 70,000-ft/2 first floor area, for use as "H-6" occupancy. This is adding to existing the 16,612-ft/2 "H-6" Fab Nickel Plating & Clean Room. Also installing sprinklers under new mechanical HVAC ducts in a 3,500 ft/2 area of the basement. This building is fully sprinklered for allowable area increase. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD02-01682.
