Fire Station #7 * To install a complete fire sprinkler protection, incorporating wet and dry pipe systems, designed for both Light and Ordinary Group 2 hazard occupancies in an existing, 17,620 ft/2 pre-engineered remodeled type V-N building, and a new 2,500 ft/2 second story addition. This permit includes a 6" C-900 underground fire service supply main which taps to an 8" existing supply in Commerce Street, running north approximately 55'-0" into the south west corner of this same existing structure. This facility will house a fire station. The Fire Department will occupy the entire building and rooms with unidentified uses under this permit are declared S-1 storage and require OH-2 fire sprinkler area/density protection. The second floor will house the living quarters for the Fire Fighters. All fire sprinkler system installation work and equipment, materials and appurtenance shall comply with NFPA 13?1999, 24-1995, 72-1999, attached review comment and conditions list; as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire Inspection Card are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification meeting minimum code.
