(ELLSWORTH KINCAID CONSTRUCTION - EMPIRE BLDG BASEMENT - SUITE B100) To modify and existing fire sprinkler system in a 2,125 ft/2 area, located in the basement of the Empire Building for an office tenant. Work is related to new interior nonbearing walls and new suspended ceilings. This building is fire sprinklered under the provisions of the 1994 UCBC because it is too big, too tall, and has too many stories. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD02-01895.
