(HP B25, Data Center Reliability Upgrade) Fire sprinkler modifications and additions related to selective demolition of (masonry) wall & roof areas at existing north side generator rooms in preparation for new construction to create a 1,000-ft/2 addition to house a new west switchgear room (Rm. 02), and to sprinkler a new east side switchgear room (Rm. 191), within a portion of existing generator room (Rm. 187). Rooms 141 & 143 are being modified for storage use. (Existing 2-hr. Area separation wall & 1-hr. occupancy. separation wall shall be maintained). This building is fully sprinklered for allowable area increase. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The plans, these notes, issued permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD02-02264.
