(PHASE II - St. Lukes RMC Fire Code Upgrade) To install the remaining separate 6" supply feed mains in the basement and up through the stair towers for the separation/connection of high-pressure supplies to the stair well # 6, and 7, North Wing Tower. This includes the new mains and reconnection of sprinkler risers that would be on the high-pressure system piping, reconnection to the low pressure piping from the 3rd floors to the 6th. (The top floor may change due to future testing verification of which changes must be documented). Reference attached plans. This work is to reduce excessive (+175 lbs) pressure created by a previous installation/replaced fire booster pump with a 1000gpm @ 115lb rated fire booster pump (for the East Wing Tower Expansion, under the auspices of the State Fire Marshall's Office). The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, plans, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, for witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is not attached to a building permit.
