HP B25, Data Center Reliability Upgrade - To add manual pulls, smoke and heat detectors, control Zams and a/v devices, within the TI areas, connected to the existing building 25 fire alarm panel.
The associated building permit (BLD 02-02264) is to perform selective demolition of masonry wall & roof areas at existing north side generator rooms in preparation for new construction to create a 1000 s.f. addition to house a new west switchgear room (Rm. 02) and to install a new east side switchgear room (Rm. 191) within a portion of existing generator room (Rm. 187). To modify room use of Rms. 141 & 143 to storage. To add 3 new enclosed generator pads; a new transformer enclosure; new reinforced masonry walls, roof structure, utility bridge & support, interior non-bearing / non-combustible wall; exterior landings, stairs & railings; and sprinkler, alarm, electrical, mechanical and plumbing upgrades to meet tenant needs and meet code compliance. NOTE: This building is fully sprinklered for allowable area increase. Existing 2-hr. Area separation wall & 1-hr. occ. separation wall to be maintained.
