Relocate one and provide two additional audio/visual devices due to the addition of various interior walls. Two non-required smoke detection systems will be installed in the new Remstar storage units. These systems will include a Vesda laser scanner with a manual pull station and an electrical shunt for the shut down of the Remstar. Per Micron letter dated 1/29/2003, fire sprinkler protection will be installed in the Remstars instead of an Inergen system.
The associated building permit (BLD 03-00073) is to install (4) Remstar Carousel Stockers (PCS 20025010) - To remove some existing floor tiles and to construct new interior clean room walls and doors to create a new Service Aisle 2454S, Service Aisle 2462S, Production Control Area 152B and Remstar Stocker Area. This work is at the first floor of Building #24D between grid lines C2&E.5 and 29&30.5)
NOTE: This permit does not include approval of the Vesda system design, because there are no UFC requirements for this system; insufficient information is included in this submittal to verify the design of the system, and it does not impact on the performance of the required building alarm system.
