(ST LUKES-2 NORTH WING & EAST TOWER LABOR & DELIVERY TRIAGE) To add and modify fire sprinkler protection in an existing 4,950 ft/2 "I-1.1" Occupancy remodel. Work is related to selective demolition of interior walls, ceiling systems. The construction of new non-combustible, non-bearing fire-resistive walls to create the 1-hour exit corridor, waiting, reception, exam and support area rooms, and the installation of new suspended grid ceiling system. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD02-02815.
