(THE CHILDREN'S STORE) To perform some demolition work on fire sprinklers for a minor remodel and establish a 'certificate of occupancy' for a 10,618-ft/2 retail and storage tenant per approved plans on file. Work is related to the removal of a mezzanine and stairs only. Other work which is not addressed in this permit is: To provide code upgrades for life safety items which including the installation of steel racks, and draft stops from floor to roof deck at maximum 100 ft spacing. All per attached plan review comments / conditions, notes and part of the approval requiring compliance. NOTE: This building is fully sprinklered. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
