Description |
To add one manual pull station, monitor new kitchen hood suppression system, two smoke detectors for a roll down door and additional audio/visual devices. A battery cabinet/charger with 50 ah batteries will be supplied for the existing 4010 fire alarm panel.
The associated building permit (BLD 02-00266) is to remodel the lower level of an existing assembly room to increase the allowable occupant load within the room. The mezzanine level will maintain its maximum occupant load at 192. A 2,500 square foot expansion area in the basement will accommodate support functions (e.g. kitchen, dressing room, storage, etc.) for the assembly room. After the expansion, this tenant will have a total floor area of 11,624 square feet. Work is to include structural headers and trimmers at widened doorways, stairways, guardrails, handrails, fire doors, new structural bracing for the mezzanine, and a toilet/shower room accessible to the disabled all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file.
