To provide fire alarm coverage for tenant improvement, add two (2) manual pull stations, add one (1) smoke detector in liquor storage room, four (4) duct smoke detectors with remote test for HVAC shutdown, ten (10) notification devices and two (2) heat detectors in the public restrooms.

The associated building permit (BLD 03-0) is to expand an existing tenant space and convert it to an A-2 Occupancy nightclub. The total size of the expanded tenant space will be 3,676 square feet. The occupant load will be 280. An approved aisle and seating diagram shall be posted near the main entrance. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, a new entry at the alley, new stairways, new doors, and interior finishes all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file. The location of fire sprinkler heads shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department. The fire sprinklers are used to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistance rated construction. **CJW**
