FIR03-00132 was related to the removal of a mezzanine and stairs. This permit is to modify two restrooms, to provide code upgrades for life safety items. Also to install draft stops from floor to roof deck at maximum 100'-0" spacing, per BLD02-01612. This building is fully sprinklered. Tenant work may affect fire sprinkler protection outside this permitted scope due to the installation of tenant-demising or new partition walls, the affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit scope will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. All fire sprinklers and related appurtenance within this permit work scope shall meet current NFPA 13-1999 standards, comply with the IFC-2000 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, in order to provide witness verification of compliance in meeting minimum code standards.
