(POLICY STUDIES)(EMERALD BLDG E) To modify fire sprinklers in the remodel of a 7,724-ft/2 portion of an existing 15,000-ft/2 shell building, for an office tenant. Work is related to construction of interior partitions, to create office areas, file storage areas, small conference room and two restrooms. Also related to the installation of a suspended ceiling system with lighting and HVAC. This building is fully fire sprinklered. Partial sprinkler "proceed" issued 7/9/3- statement attached. All fire sprinklers and related appurtenance within this permit work scope shall meet current NFPA 13-1999 standards, comply with the IFC-2000 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, in order to provide witness verification of compliance in meeting minimum code standards.
