Description
(GIVENS PURSLEY LLP) To modify and add fire sprinkler protection in the remodel of all 3 levels of an existing 34,500-ft/2, 3 story office building. Work is related basically due to 6 restrooms, the additions of interior nonbearing walls and suspended ceilings per drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file. This building is fire sprinklered to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistive construction. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with UFC-1997, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. A demolition fire permit was issued under FIR03-00285. An underground fire permit was issued under FIR03-00408. This permit and the other fire permits are attached to building permit: BLD02-02853.
