To install a new manual fire alarm system in an existing building with notification appliances, sprinkler monitoring, elevator recall/shut trip and HVAC shutdown. The new system will be "phased" in by each floor. The initial phase will include the basement and first floors, providing the new FACP, sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown and elevator recall/shunt trip. The second phase will be the second floor and the third phase will be the third floor. Each floor will be unoccupied during the remodel phase.

The associated building permit (BLD 02-02853) is to remodel all 3 levels of an existing 34,500 square foot 3 story office building. Work is to include 6 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, floor infills, wall infills, and suspended ceilings all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department.
