(DEMOLTION OF CINEMA - BODO PARTNERS) To locate and cap existing fire sprinkler system piping connected to the 8th Street Market Complex feeding portion/s of the 8th Street Cinema, which is to be demolished in preparation for a new structure. The 3 level structure, built on Broad Street, between the cinemas and the historic building on the South will also be demolished. The total floor area being demolished is about 24,000-ft/2. A temporary wood ramp will be constructed to provide a route accessible to the disabled. The fire sprinkler system shall be maintained operational in all areas where the remaining structures are located. Wall infills will be constructed to maintain protection from the weather. The fire sprinkler system work shall be maintained in accordance with minimum requirements of NFPA 13-1999, complying with the IFC-2000 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this permit, to provide witness of compliance verification of meeting minimum code.
