Description
To add notification appliances and three in-duct detectors to heat pumps for HVAC shutdown within the remodel space. The existing fire alarm system consists of manual pull stations, sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, elevator recall/shutdown and smoke damper detectors.

The associated building permit (BLD 03-01501) is to remodel an existing tenant space located on the first floor of the Empire Building. A 657 square foot mezzanine will be constructed within this tenant space. The total floor area of this tenant space will be 3,767 square feet (3,110 square feet on the grade level and 657 square feet on the mezzanine). Work is to include a store front door, raised display area, and a mezzanine. The mezzanine will be constructed of steel beams, a concrete pan deck, and cable lateral bracing. It will be supported by the existing building columns. The guard around the mezzanine will be constructed of steel posts with stretched cables. All work shall comply with the approved drawing, adopted codes, and plan review conditions on file.
