To sprinkle a new light hazard office space. Work is to include the removal of the existing upright sprinkler heads and provide new drop sprinkler pendants that will utilize the existing upright outlets.
The work is related to the finish of an 11,215 sq ft space to be used as an office tenant. The work will include, construction of interior partitions, installation of suspended ceiling system and lighting system, installation of new sink and dishwasher in breakroom, new access opening to be installed in the existing nonrated exit access corridor for required 2nd exit from this tenant space, new HVAC system, existing restrooms located in the core area, This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. Any modifications or alterations to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department.
The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with IFC 2000, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD03-01564.
