To add two tamper switches for a backflow preventer to an existing fire alarm system.

The associated sprinkler permit (FIR 03-00241) is to install column protection for 4 columns, located within the new racks and add one 1½" hose station. The commodity classification addressed is Class IV to 18'-0" elevation with minimum 5'-6" aisle width. Also included in this permit work is the installation of a new Wilkins Model "350", 8" Double Check Backflow Preventer w/forward flow test piping arrangements and appurtenance. This work is located between columns "C" and outside wall "E" running east and west, and "3" and "8" running north and south. All fire sprinkler system work shall be in accordance to NFPA 13-1999, complying with the IFC-2000 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. SCP Global Technologies - Racking * To modify the overhead fire sprinkler system a 3,181-ft/2 area by changing out 90 Reliable Model "G" ¾" thread, 17/32" K-factor, L.O. to Tyco Series "ELO-231B", ¾" thread 11.2 K-factor orifice sprinklers.
