To add A/V appliances to an existing fire alarm system to afford coverage in a remodeled area. A single smoke detector is being added for door release on a door hold open installed for the remodel.

The associated building permit (BLD 03-02315) is to remodel the existing 300 square foot, Quarz Clean Room and to add a new pass-thru at the one-hour fire barrier wall at grid line 18. This is an H-3 Occupancy that is separated by one-hour fire-resistive occupancy separation from the remainder of the building and by a two-hour fire-barrier at the south wall separating it from the H-2 Occupancy. This work is being done on the first floor of building #15 between grid lines 17&18 and A&B. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list.
