(INTERMOUNTAIN HOME PRODUCTS)(VAN AUKER WAREHOUSE) To remodel a 3,840 sq.ft. warehouse/office tenant per approved plans on file. Work to include, addition to existing office area, construction of mezzanine area, new lighting in office area, extension of HVAC Duct work to office area, This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. No storage racking over 8 ft. in height is allowed under this permit.
Fire sprinkler work is to include the connection of the new sprinkler piping to the existing 4" wet main directly above the mezzanine and extend a new branchline down below the new mezzanine. The mezzanine is constructed of TJI joists with plywood decking. The existing Office, Closet and Restroom are currently protected. Treasure Valley Fire will install 5 new Reliable F1FR semi-recessed pendent sprinklers and 8 new Reliable F1FR upright sprinklers throughout the new addition. Upright spacing will be limited to 130 sq. ft. total. Pendent spacing will be limited to 225 sq. ft. total. The actual spacing of the new sprinklers does not exceed 120 sq. ft. The original system was designed to accommodate a design density of .295 gpm per square foot over 2000 sq. ft. with a maximum spacing 100 sq. ft. or 29.5 gpm per sprinkler. The existing sprinklers in the existing mezzanine are quick response. The new sprinklers will be quick response. All work is to be done in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements. remaining spaces are sprinklered and are to remain as is.
