Work includes selective demolition of restroom; construction of new interior walls to create a fully complying accessible restroom and construct a 1-hour fire barrier wall between the two tenant spaces & to construct a 1-hour wall with parapet at the west wall due to proximity to property line; add service sink & relocate water heater per approved plans. Field review and approval by fire inspector required. Note: per letter of agreement on file, this entire building is required to be fully sprinklered with fire suppression system per NFPA 13 by 1/5/04. NO TENANT ALLOWED UNDER THIS PERMIT. A 'Letter of Compliance" is required for this project.
The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with IFC 2000, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD03-01348. This permit is not attached to any other permit.
