(Other related work, which is not addressed in this permit application work scope, is the construction of interior noncombustible partitions to create an accessible restroom, wall to separate the kitchen area from the storage area, the installation of new type 1 hood system and grease duct shaft. All of which can require work not addressed by the Contractor?) This building is fully fire sprinklered for mall provisions and contains a smoke evacuation system. The smoke evacuation system must remain operational as installed under the 1985 UBC. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with IFC 2000, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
