Replacement of an A/V appliance to afford coverage of a remodeled area. Four (4) FCUs are being added in the remodel. Area detection will be utilized to implement HVAC shutdown. The existing manual fire alarm system includes door release, elevator recall/shutdown, sprinkler monitoring, fire/smoke damper controls, area detection and HVAC shutdown.

The associated building permit (BLD 03-02510) is to demo and remove interior partitions and doors to reinstall some interior partitions and doors to create one large room out of the previous existing five lab rooms and hallway 201BB. The new room will be approximately 875 square feet, located on the second floor of Building #16 between grid lines 11&14 and N&P. The work also includes relocation and reworking of interior lighting, sprinkler heads, HVAC duct work and electrical to accommodate the new remodel.
