The scope of the fire alarm work is to provide Type 1 hood monitoring in the restaurant to the existing fire alarm system.
The associated building permit (BLD 03-01977) is MAI THAI RESTAURANT INC in the UNION BLOCK Building-1ST FLR. New restaurant tenant in an existing 2,645 sq. ft. space with a 2,600 sq. ft. storage basement in an existing building per approved plans. Space was previously used as a restaurant and the existing kitchen equipment will remain with no changes. Work to include some minor interior demolition work, a new bar, a few new interior walls or wall infill, a small new stairway with handrails at elevated private dining room, interior finish, a new walk-in cooler in basement, minor fire sprinkler work, plumbing work, and electrical work including new lighting and switching on the main floor.
