(TITLE ONE)(FOREST RIVER VIII-2ND FLR-SUITE #200) This will be a phased project on the second floor of an existing building. Fire sprinkler work is to verify system hydraulics (since the system was found deficient in its original installation (by Commercial Fire Protection, installed 1/89 under the State Fire Marshal), which requires an added 2" line connecting the two 2.5 cross mains. The addition of piping (with CPVC) to supply existing sprinkler piped on outside (non gridded) end lines which were fed with more than 2 sprinkler on one inch pipe. Work also includes the relocation of approximately 10, the removal of 2 existing heads and the addition of 1 in the room to the east of room 109. Also the replacement of the entire floors, (147) standard response and any other existing sprinkler to a single manufactured listed model "quick response" fire sprinklers (addressed in the review notes), to allow for the existing one-hour rated exit corridor on the 2nd floor to be downgraded to a non-rated corridor, which is part of the remodel of a new 11,566-ft/2 expansion to an existing 2,780-ft/2 office tenant. The new tenant total will be 14,346-ft/2 and the tenant will now occupy the entire second floor. Fire sprinkler work is also related to miscellaneous interior demolition work and some new interior walls. Original tenant permit was started under BLD02-02842 (which had never been finaled) and will require FIRE verification issues. This building was fully fire sprinklered for one-hour substitution. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with IFC 2000, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
