The FA modifications associated with the building remodel is to add eight (8) area smoke detectors three (3) in-duct detectors for fire/smoke damper control and one (1) smoke detector for door release to the existing FACP-08 (the first smoke for door release is being installed under FIR04-00015). Eleven (11) notification appliances are being added for coverage.

The associated building permit (BLD 03-01791) is to construct new diagnostic rooms, patient rooms, workrooms, and support areas along with a non-rated new corridor, a new entrance into the existing 1-hour rated corridor as a second exit from the unit and upgrades to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler & alarm systems per approved plans.
