Description
(ASPEN HOMES) To modify fire sprinkler protection in a new tenant located in an existing 6,400-ft/2 space for office and warehouse use in existing building. Previous occupancy use was retail and warehouse. Fire sprinkler work is related to new interior walls, new suspended ceiling in office area, and an additional restroom. No racking allowed unless meeting the requirements of IFC Chapter 23 addressing the storage of Class 1 through IV commodity. Tires, Group "A" Plastics, flammable liquids, idle pallets and similar, is not addressed in this permit review. Pile storage limits shall be per NFPA 13:12.1.10.1.1 and 12.1.10.1.2. The Building Permit addresses non-separated uses per IBC Section 302.3.2. This building was constructed in Ada County and annexed into Boise City in 1993. This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with these conditions, the IFC 2000, the attached review comments, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD03-03060.

Upright sprinkler heads in the warehouse along the wall the runs north/south are overspaced off of the wall. Plans show the uprights there but their not. All of the ceiling tile was in so i could not verify pipe and hangers above the offices. Existing trapeze hangers don't conform to review note #32 and the earth quake bracing is attached to the bottom chord of the trusses. See review note #34. 3/18/2004 3:35:38 PM
