The associated building permit (BLD 03-03078) is to remodel an existing 2,177 square foot tenant space for use as a spa and salon. This space is located on the first story of a 4-story building. Work is to include a toilet/shower room accessible to the disabled, a toilet/shower room NOT accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, interior sliding and swinging doors, a new concrete landing and step at the Idaho Street entrance, gypsum board ceiling soffits, interior finishes, and millwork all per the approved drawings and plan review report on file. This building is fire sprinklered to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistance-rated construction. The location of fire sprinkler heads shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department.
