(MELTING POT & OLD CENTRAL FIRE STATION BLDG) To install the underground fire service supply and overhead wet and dry fire sprinkler systems in this existing 9,868-ft/2 building, with a 528-ft/2 basement, 4,670-ft/2 first floor and 4,670-ft/2 2nd story. The first floor is being remodeled for a restaurant. This building is required to be fire sprinklered to allow an A-2 Occupancy, to allow the unprotected openings in the East wall, to allow the basement to be unenclosed, and for story increase. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2000, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD04-00031.
