(PI PIZZARIA - WEST END OF HEATH WAREHOUSE) To add fire sprinkler protection underneath an elevated 630-ft/2 mezzanine platform located in an existing 4,375-ft/2 remodel for a new restaurant tenant (3,745-ft/2 is on the first floor). Fire sprinkler work is related only to the platform. Building construction work includes some interior nonbearing walls, restroom alterations and changes to the kitchen. Selective demolition is also being done under the building permit. This building is fire sprinklered to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistance rated construction. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2000, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD03-02721.
