(JAVA ON MAIN - EAGLES CENTER - 1ST FLR) To convert an existing 1,575 ft/2 tenant space to a coffee shop and bakery. This space is located on the first story of a 4 story building. The 1994 UCBC and the 2000 IBC were used to regulate the conversion. To replace standard pendant heads to Q.R. fire sprinklers throughout this tenant and fire sprinkler modification which were created by new interior nonbearing walls and two Type II exhaust hoods. Fire sprinklers substitute for 1-hr fire-resistance-rated construction of the building. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2000, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
