To provide notification appliances in the remodeled area (2nd floor, BLDG 26 NW corner) with proper coverage. The existing required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 03-02949) is to install approximately 30 lineal feet of interior partitions and a new interior door to create a new 205 square foot Network Lab #205B at the northwest corner of Test/Information Systems Area #205A. This work also includes related suspended ceiling, electrical, mechanical fire sprinkler modifications. This work is being done at the northwest corner of the second floor of Building #26 between grid lines 1&2 and B&C. All construction per the approved plans.
