To provide notification appliances in the remodeled area (BLDG 16 basement) with proper coverage. The existing required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 04-00921) is to remove and relocate some interior partitions and doors to eliminate the south Bootie/Smock Rooms #004E & #004F to open up and enlarge Photo Bay 8 (#004G) and CFA Bay 1 (#004M). The existing one-hour rated corridor #000C is to be maintained. this work is being done in the basement of Building #16, between grid lines 16 & 18 and M & P. This remodel will accommodate the relocation of metro and wet tools currently located in CFA Photo 9 and Fab 3 Wet bay areas. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list.
