To provide one smoke detector (for spacing for area detection) and notification appliances for total visual coverage. The existing required manual fire alarm system includes automatic detection, HVAC shutdown and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 04-00187) is to remodel a 550 sq.ft. area in the east side of the existing church for a medical clinic per approved plans and CUP03-00106. Work to include installation of a new two hour, fire barrier wall to separate this occupancy from the existing church facility, add interior walls to create two exam rooms and add a new accessible restroom.
