To provide required automatic detection and notification to an existing required manual fire alarm system that includes sprinkler monitoring, fire/smoke damper control, door release, HVAC shutdown, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 03-02878) is to finish out approximately 12,600 sq.ft. of area for office, sterilization, processing and storage per approved plans. Work includes selective demolition within the new office area and build-out and finish of sterilization & storage area of sub-basement shell & core. To construct interior non -bearing, non-combustible walls to create the exit path between stair enclosures; create decontamination, processing, terminal sterilization, packaging, breakdown, storage and support administrative areas; to install suspended ceiling grid system and upgrade electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression and alarm systems to meet tenant needs and provide compliance with adopted codes and ordinances; To maintain the existing 2-hour fire wall between the East Tower and the East Tower Annex.
