To provide audio/visual coverage in a remodeled area in BLDG 24D. The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 04-01683) is to demo and remove the partitions and doors separating Smock Room #157B and the Fabrication Hallway at the west and a portion of the north wall separating the smock and booty rooms from the Production Control #152A. To install a new ASD clean room wall system and door approximately 3'-6" to the east of the original wall location. This work also includes the removal of the raised floor system (Mahle bay floor tiles) at the smock and bootie rooms and replace it with new Mahle plenum floor tile. This work also includes required modifications to the associated ceiling system, mechanical, electrical, fire sprinkler, fire alarm and plumbing systems at the sub-fab, fab, interstitial spaces fan deck and the roof areas. This remodel is being done at an approximate 1,000 square floor area of the first floor of Building #24D between grid lines 30&30.5 and D.3&E.5.
