A HVAC unit is being removed from the roof, the associated duct smoke detector is being removed (original location on second floor). To provide monitoring for a cooking hood and HVAC shutdown in the remodeled restaurant on the first floor. The required sprinkler monitoring fire alarm system includes HVAC shutdown.
The associated building permit (BLD 04-01255) is to create a 3,155 square foot restaurant on the 1st floor of an historic building. This tenant will also occupy 1,228 square feet of the basement. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, a grease hood and duct, a 1-hr door, millwork, and interior finishes all per the approved drawings and the plan review report on file.
