To provide total notification in the remodeled space, a new NAC panel (smoke detector provided above panel) will be added to complete this remodel. One horn/strobe in the corridor will be relocated to accommodate the entrance to this new suite. A manual pull station will be provided at the "back" door exit from the office into the stair well. The required manual fire alarm system includes required automatic detection, non-required automatic detection, sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 04-02225) is to remodel a 2,150 sq.ft. portion of the 2nd floor for a new office space. Work to include, installation of a new 90 minute exit door into the existing exit enclosure, installation of a new suspended ceiling system, construction of new partitions to create office spaces and reception area, installation of a new counter and sink in the break room. This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department.
