Description
Van Auker Cloverdale Building #10 (Shell Permit) - To install approximately 141-lf of 8" of C-900 PVC pipe connected to a tap stubbed to the property line in Executive. The piping will run northeast around the side of the proposed 26,400-ft/2, one story, concrete tilt-up, with steel girders & trusses and a metal roof building, to approximately midway on the east side then west under the footing and up through the floor with an 8" ductile iron riser to approximately 6" above face of finished floor. The location of this riser is not identified in this submittal and specific requirements will be imposed in the overhead shell fire sprinkler permit application of which a separate permit will be required. This building will be fully fire sprinklered. This underground is for a supply to a shell building permit only. The fire sprinkler underground work shall comply with NFPA 13-2002, NFPA 24-2002 the IFC-2000, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum fire code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD03-01306.

Underground sprinkler piping is ok to cover. Underground pipe only measures 4' from top of pipe to existing grade. Per Sam, the installer, there will be 4" of roadmix and 2" of pavement which will give it a 4'-6" bury. Top of pipe to slab is 5'-8".
