To provide total coverage notification (speaker/strobes) to the remodeled area (Moxie Java) located in Concourse "B". There is an upgrade agreement dated October 26, 2004, to upgrade all of Concourse "B" fire alarm system by September 30, 2005. At this time, there is a "mix" (horns and speakers) of notification appliances. The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, required auatomatic detection, non-required automatic detection, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 04-01970) is to remodel an existing 750 square foot restaurant tenant space for a new restaurant tenant. This space is located in Concourse B Extension of the Boise City Air Terminal. The dining room will have a floor area of 379 square feet. The service area and storage room will have a floor area of 372 square feet. Selective nonstructural demolition, including removing a grease hood and duct, is included under this permit. Other demolition is covered under permit BLD04-02155. Work is to include a vertical rolling security grille, interior nonbearing walls, gypsum board ceiling and soffits, a suspended ceiling, millwork, and finishes all per the approved drawings and the plan review report on file.
