To provide a required sprinkler monitoring fire alarm system in an existing building.

The associated building permit (BLD 04-00421) is to construct a 6,705 square foot 2nd floor and to create several (47) storage units on the 1st floor below the new 2nd floor. The new 2nd floor will be located within a warehouse area that had a ceiling height of about 18 feet. The new 2nd floor will be constructed next to and will incorporate a 1,591 square foot former mezzanine. The new 2nd floor plus the former mezzanine will have a floor area of about 8,298 square feet. Work is to include interior bearing walls, a new floor structure, new stairways, TWO RESTROOMS ACCESSIBLE TO THE DISABLED, and doors all per the approved drawings, engineering, and plan review report on file.
